On the occasion of signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between “Ala - Too” International University (AIU), Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and Wrexham Glyndwr University (WGU), Wales, United Kingdom

On September 4, 2022 with the presence of Prof., Dr. Aulay Mackenzie, Pro Vice Chancellor, Wrexham Glyndwr University and Prof., Dr. Sanzharbek Erdolatov, rector, “Ala - Too” International University, the MoU was signed between AIU & WGU. The MoU was signed in presence of Hon Col Mr John Davies MBE, Co-Founder & Chairman, Cyber Wales, United Kingdom and Faheem Azhar, Board of Director & International Strategic Advisor Cyber Wales, United Kingdom.

The objective of MoU is

·         The delivery of dual 2+2 degree programmes

·         Staff development and exchange

·         Student exchange

     As a part of MoU, “Ala - Too” International University will provide its complete support for bringing the students, staff and other officials together. With the object of promoting the cooperation between both universities, students can travel Wales to enter Wrexham Glyndwr University as an exchange student for the needed period.

     Prof., Dr. Erdolatov stated that we are glad that Wrexham Glyndwr University (Member of Cyber Wales Community) is continuously seeking to collaborate with international institutions like “Ala-Too” International University that share vision in providing their students with world-class education. This partnership, in addition to others, will encourage students to tackle new experiences, obtain valuable knowledge and gain a greater understanding of their field. This agreement builds on our UK - Kyrgyzstan partnership and removes barriers, so even more of the best and brightest students from Kyrgyzstan can study in Wales, United Kingdom, boosting economy and enriching campuses and communities

     This is a landmark, historic MoU of its kind between the two countries. Qualifications students receive will be recognised on both sides, making it easier for students to progress in education and move into jobs.
