On March 28, 2024, the AIU hosted a student conference “Achieving Sustainable Development Goals in Kyrgyzstan: challenges and prospects”, organized by Professor Ibrahim Konchak, Head of the International Relations Department Aikerim Sagynbekova, as well as 1st and 4th year students of this department.
Various aspects of sustainable development were discussed during the conference, including climate, foreign policy, economic crises, inequality and artificial intelligence. The participants presented their research, projects and ideas on how to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in Kyrgyzstan in various spheres of society. The conference brought together young leaders to discuss key aspects of sustainable development. The presence of students from different fields of study and universities has created an inspiring atmosphere of dialogue and exchange of ideas. This event confirms the determination of young people to take an active part in shaping a sustainable future for our country. The conference became a platform not only for academic discussions, but also for creating a network of active young leaders who are ready to implement innovative solutions and development strategies.
