On March 29, 2024, the Republican Management Olympiad was held, organized by the Bishkek State University (BSU) named after K. Karasaev. The purpose of the event was to identify the best projects and business plans.
The Olympiad consisted of three rounds: testing, presentation of projects and a quiz game. The assessment was carried out both individually and in groups. 1st year students of the Management Department Aitkulova Saadat, Sofya Dyachkovskaya, Elizat Sultanali kyzy and Tologonova Akylai took 2nd place in testing and were awarded in the nomination “Best innovative project”.

We have developed a project to identify the shortcomings of the local company Umut & Ko and offered our solutions. After conducting a survey among residents of the Kyrgyz Republic, we found a problem in the outdated design of Umut & Ko products. Noticing that they lag behind the Belaya Reka company to some extent, we decided to change the packaging design of their products. For example, we redesigned products such as kefir, milk, cheese, and also made improvements to the logo. Thus, we not only identified the problem, but also successfully solved it.
According to the participants, the event was held at the highest level. Considering that BSU holds the Olympiad annually, our students intend to participate next year. Congratulations to the AIU team and wish them further success!
