On March 6, 2024, the AIU hosted the presentation of a book entitled “Ulutubuzdun unguluu narktary” by Kyrgyz national writer, laureate of the Toktogul Satylganov State Prize, Doctor of Philology, Professor Sovetbek Baigaziev. The event attracted the active participation of lecturers and students.
The participants asked the author questions and received valuable information about the book. There was also a reading contest among students on this book, the winners of which were congratulated and rewarded with cash prizes. Sovetbek Baigaziev donated 8 recently released books on the epic “Manas” to the university library. Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, Professor Salidin Kaldybayev expressed gratitude to the author and presented him with a special gift. The event was organized by the scientific library named after Zh. Kanimetov and the department of “Kyrgyz language”.
The winners of the reading contest were:
1st place: Alberto Akenbaev (5000 som)
2nd place: Bekmyrza Alyshbaev (4000 som)
3rd place: Nurdoolot Kalybekov (3000 som)
