On March 16, 2024, the AIU hosted an Olympiad for 11th grade students of general education institutions in Bishkek in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The total number of registered participants was 180 people, of whom 65 actively participated. The Olympiad was held in two rounds: the first qualifying round was carried out in online testing mode in the LMS MOODLE system, which offered individual tasks for each participant. The second round involved 20 students working on a text with certain tasks.
According to the results of the Olympiad, the winners were:
1st place: Samir Sabirov (101 points)
2nd place: Abasbekova Akylai (97.7 points)
3rd place: Amanbaev Aibek (96.5 points)
Incentive prizes were also awarded to several participants. All participants of the second round received certificates. The teachers who prepared the winners of the Olympiad were awarded with letters of thanks.
The main goals and objectives of the Olympiad were to popularize education among young people, increase interest in learning the Russian language, promote scientific knowledge, familiarize students with the AIU and assist students in choosing a profession for a bachelor's degree.
