The course “Algorithm for investigating cybercrimes” has been completed

On March 19, 2024, after passing the tests and classes, the participants received a 72-hour licensed cybersecurity certificate from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. 

For six months, a comprehensive course “Algorithm for investigating cybercrimes” was developed on the basis of the AIU Cybersecurity Center within the framework of the “CyberOfficial” project, funded by the British Embassy in Kyrgyzstan. The project coordinators are Associate Professor Zhyldyz Tegizbekova and Burul Shambetova. 

The first course stream started in February. For three weeks, classes were held offline on the basis of the Ministry of Digital Development, and participants also got access to the online system of AIU courses. In the system, participants could view assignments, take tests and exams. The course was used by 45 civil servants from the Ministry of Digital Development, SOE Infocom, SOE Tunduk, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, the State Agency for Personal Data Protection, as well as lecturers from KRSU and KSMA. 

The course was developed by ten experts in the field of cybersecurity, information technology and cyber law. It covers important topics such as cyberattack protection, cybersecurity, personal data protection, cyber hygiene, and others. The organizers of the course express their gratitude to the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic and also to Minister Kutnaeva N. A. for cooperation.
