2nd-year students of the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics of AIU – Aibiyke Omorova, Eldana Omushova and Altynai Melisova took 1st place at the AI Art Hackathon, which took place from March 29 to April 5, 2024. The organizers were the High Technology Park and The Cramer Project.
Our winners shared their impressions:
“There were 20 finalist teams. With the help of our skills and knowledge, we have achieved significant success. At the demo day, our project “Picasso” was successfully presented, which is a robot capable of drawing on vertical surfaces. The robot is controlled via a mobile application that we have been working on for a week.
This was our first experience of participating in such events, and we received unforgettable impressions and valuable experience in the field of using artificial intelligence in startups and projects. We were glad that we proudly presented our university. We would like to express our gratitude to the organizers for the opportunity to demonstrate our abilities and learn a lot about AI and startups.”
The scientific advisers of the AIU project are Andrey Ermakov, Ruslan Isaev, Tauhid Khan, Gulzada Esenalieva, as well as Radmir Gumerov, a startup consultant.
