On May 14, 2024, the Department of International Relations of the AIU met the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Mirzakhidov Khurshid Mirsabirovich and Adviser – Rozbakiev Bakhtiyor Srailovich. The Ambassador held a guest lecture for students, which became a significant event in the academic life of the university.
The visit was conducted under the guidance of the Vice-rector for Academic Affairs of the AIU Rustam Umarov and the head of the department Aikerim Sagynbekova.
The lecture was devoted to the discussion of the diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan in Kyrgyzstan and made a deep impression on students interested in international relations and diplomacy.
Ambassador Mirzakhidov Khurshid shared his knowledge and experience, describing key aspects of diplomatic work and stressed the importance of dialogue and cooperation between the countries. Successful examples of bilateral relations between the two countries were also discussed during the lecture.
