The Institute of Advanced Training and Continuing Education of the AIU in cooperation with the public charity foundation “Elim, barsynby?!” within the framework of the “BILIM INVEST” project, free advanced training courses for teachers of the Chon-Alai district were conducted. A social project aimed at charity has been successfully implemented, and the number of teachers participating in the courses has exceeded 200 people. The Vice-rector for Academic Affairs of the AIU, Rustam Umarov briefly spoke about the project:
“Within the framework of the “BILIM INVEST” project of the public charity foundation “Elim, barsynby?!” we have received a proposal to conduct advanced training courses for teachers in the Leilek district, where we have trained 70 teachers. After that, we decided to continue the project, and for two years, teacher training events were held in the Chon-Alai district, Issyk-Kul region and remote villages. The main goal of the project is to share knowledge and experience with teachers from different regions, as well as to contribute to the field of knowledge.”
Director of the Institute of Advanced Training and Continuing Education of AIU Kunduz Zhusupbekova told about the topics covered:
“As part of the social project, preliminary interviews and surveys were conducted with teachers, with an emphasis on digital education topics. For example, in Batken and Issyk-Kul regions, issues of virtual libraries and their proper storage, preparation of basic web courses and aspects that teachers should take into account in digitalization were discussed. The Chon-Alai district had its own peculiarities.
The focus was on online document management, targeted use of AI, preparing annual plan, presentations and other materials using AI in the short term. In addition, at the request of teachers, topics on psychology were included. At the school named after Zhoomart Bokonbaev of the Chon-Alai district, teachers promote our topics among their colleagues, which is part of our success.”
