On September 6, 2024, representatives of the “Kyrgyzelectronics” subsidiary, which produces laptops under the Meken brand, handed over the devices to the university.
The Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the AIU, Professor Salidin Kaldybayev noted that the development of the university's infrastructure and the creation of an electronic library require modern technologies, such as new laptops.
The parties expressed their intention to continue cooperation. Earlier, AIU students had already familiarized themselves with the work of “Kyrgyzindustry” enterprises. The university is confident that Meken laptops will play a significant role in the development of science and education in Kyrgyzstan.
