On September 27, 2024, the AIU hosted a meeting of students with representatives of Japanese companies Sigma Co., Ltd., Ogino Industries Co., Ltd. and Astas Co., Ltd. The meeting was held within the framework of cooperation between the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics and JICA. The presidents of these companies spoke about the activities of their organizations and employment opportunities.
The director of the Business Department of the Kyrgyz-Japanese Center Tanaka Shinya (Kyrgyzstan) and the employee of the JICA project Eshenkulova Barchyn also attended the meeting. Representatives of the companies talked about the prospects of work for students, noting that one of the key requirements is knowledge of the Japanese language at a conversational level, as well as successful completion of the JICA competitive selection.
