On November 25, 2024, the AIU hosted a cultural event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region and timed to coincide with Manas Day, which is celebrated on December 4. The event was organized as part of the implementation of the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on the comprehensive study and popularization of the epic trilogy “Manas”.
During the event, the artists of the Kyrgyz National Theater “Manas” met with university students and talked about the epics “Manas”, “Semetey” and “Seitek”. The evening was opened by young writers Turat Zhumaev and Almaz Askar uulu, who gave spiritual inspiration to the participants with their inspiring performances.
Special attention was drawn to the speech of manaschi Ulukmyrza Erkinbekov, who spoke in detail about the epic and shared deep philosophical reflections related to its content. This evening became an important platform for the popularization of the epic “Manas” among young people and a deep awareness of its values.
